The purpose of the American Guild of Organists is to promote the organ in its historic and evolving roles,
to encourage excellence in the performance of organ and choral music,
and to provide a forum for mutual support, inspiration, education, and certification of Guild members.
The Portland Chapter is happy to welcome all musicians who have a desire to learn more about the Pipe Organ, experience it's music, and support those who perform organ music. The Portland Chapter of the AGO extends a special invitation to all those who may play the organ for church services; we are always happy to meet those who share in the organists profession!
